Spectrum Perspectives
Spectrum Perspectives is a safe space for parents, families, and anyone touched by Autism and special needs. Hosted by Cindy Gelormini, a mom who’s walked this journey herself, the podcast shares real conversations with parents, adults on the Spectrum, professionals, and advocates who understand both the challenges and the beauty of living life on the Spectrum.
Cindy isn’t afraid to ask the hard questions and open the door to topics that parents often wrestle with quietly—things like ABA therapy, bullying, vaccine injury, abuse, and new ways of communication such as Spelling to Communicate. As the show grows, so does the conversation—Season 4 explores spiritual insights, including telepathy and the hidden gifts that many families are just beginning to discover.
If you listen with an open mind and a tender heart, you may find comfort, hope, and maybe even a brand-new perspective on what it means to love someone on the Spectrum.

Sara is an RPM practitioner and runs a support group for autism parents called "Autism Changemakers". Cindy and Sara talk about many things including RDI-Relationship Development Intervention, and how they have to work through how ABA has affected Rocco becoming open on the Spelling boards because he is still looking for the "reward" for the "right" answers. When asked if Rocco was telepathic, Sara's answer was "Duh!" He goes to the Hill and he also has spiritual gifts like healing people in their dreams. They also discuss the making of the film "Rocco Up" about Rocco learning how to go surfing with his dad. Find Sara at AutismChangemakers.com

Sara's son Rocco is a rock star! He surfs with his dad and communicates with his mom using RPM. She talks about how it took a long time for him to become open because as a non-speaker no one ever asked him questions like "How was your day?" before. She says that because ABA therapy always rewarded the "right" answers, she has had to work on letting him know "there is no wrong answer" when she asks him an open ended question. In this short trailer we also briefly discuss her journey with Functional Medicine and Leucovorin. She encourages parents to NOT wing it! The full episode is jam packed with good information. Be sure to listen to it here on this channel.
